Re: Biker's
Model A'ers and bikers like to drive on the same type of roads. I often look at motorcycle touring websites to get tour ideas for our club.

Re: Biker's
When we drove the 66 through Arizona this month, my arm got tired from waiving to so many bikers.

Re: Biker's
The admiration of old things goes back and forth between cars and bikes. When I'm riding "Rusty", my 1927 Harley, old car guys always give thumbs up. The bike is all rusty but I rebuilt it mechanicly. It runs great, is fun to ride and gets a lot of attention where ever I go. I am looking forward to getting my Tudor on the road so the young ladies will ask for a ride!

Re: Biker's
I stopped at a party store last week with my truck
A biker on a Harley had pulled in behind me When I got out of the truck he came towards me This guy was twice my size in full leathers and I got a little nervous, did I cut this guy off or something? All was better though when smiled, shock my hand and said "F---in cool truck man" |

Re: Biker's
Yep, get waves and thumbs up all the time, particularly the older bikers. A couple years ago we had our '42 Ford at our Niece's wedding in DC. They wanted some pictures by the Iwo Jima memorial (her husband is a Marine) so we started out from Chevy Chase for Arlington. Half way across the Key Bridge she died, just quit (bad coil we found out later). So there we are, my brother-in-law and me pushing the old car in the middle of DC into a hotel parking lot. All of a sudden the car got a lot lighter to push - a couple of burly bikers in full leathers, tatoos, etc. in town for Rolling Thunder had latched onto the rear and were helping to push!! They stayed with the car while I went to get the trailer, then helped us load. I'll never say anything disparaging about bikers ever again.
