Default 49 Ford Flathead v 8 8BA

Is there anyone in the Pittsburgh, Penna. area that Works on 8BA flathead Ford engins. I have some stuck valves. Thanks

I don't live in your area but if you could tell us more information about your stuck valves I'm sure you can get some good advice here. Are the valves stuck in the guide or are the guides stuck in the block?

its not hard to pop t5he intake off and look for a tappet with a lot of clearance thats the one stuck up then squirt the guide and valve stem then pry valve and get it to move up and down. just squirt throught the spring soaking it...
