Red's headers
Years ago. I bought headers from Reds, and are just putting them on now. There are 2 sizes of nuts & bolts. What goes where? Thanks

The four large bolts 7/16 go in the two front holes on both side, rest of the bolts are 3/8.

Just as a point of information: Be sure to cover those bolt threads with anti seize.
You may even find it easier to use socket head cap screws. I also don't use lock washers. |

No, I understand the reasoning for it...on the early [32-36] engines the exhaust pipes bolted directly in line with the front exhaust outlets in the block, therefore, with the added strain applied to that area it makes sense to use heavier hardware....

I've seen plenty of folks screw 3/8" NC bolts into the front holes and wonder why they strip out! LOL
