Emergency brake "link" between levers
I have searched the web and the Green Bible and am still not sure which way the link goes. Does the end that has the "slot" in it face forward or to the rear. Can't find a picture anywhere that clarifies it for me and I'm not about to pull a rear hub to see. LOL. It appears to face forward, but I'm not positive 'bout that. Please help clarify that for me. I have one link but don't know if it is a 2108 R.H or 2109 L.H. Mega thanks. Lawson

Re: Emergency brake "link" between levers
Thanks. Now, I know the 91A 2103-2104 levers are for 39-45 and 51-A is for 46-48, according to the Green Bible, but WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE ??? They look identical in every respect. I'm stumped. I have one with no part number and can't figure what it goes to. Looks like all the others. There's gotta be some difference or there wouldn't be a different prefix, but what ???

It's only a theory but methinks it possible Ford discontinued making the 91a lever and shortly thereafter put the lever back in service. Rehor??? Where are ya? We need ya!

Re: Emergency brake "link" between levers
There is the slightest difference of the location of the slot for the cable. I'm sure which one is which, but one slot is cut near the outside of the lever and the other is more center.
I never knew there was a difference either until someone should me. Why the change, I have no idea. |
