Question Moulding Gray Paint

I'm working to paint the interior garnish pieces on my 1930 Tudor. Anyone know of a good rattle can color that approximates the Ford Moulding Gray color? I have no interest in spending the $$$ to order the real thing from a paint supplier, so hoping there is something available at low cost that comes close. Rustoleum/Krylon/Duplicolor sort of product? Thanks

Try an auto body paint store. They can usually mix it and put in a rattle can for you. Works like a charm.

I mixed my own and sprayed it on with my paint gun . I feel that the finish more durable than spray can paint . If enamels are used , hardener can be added for even longer durability .

I found some model (enamel paint) at a hobby store that is very close to the gray on the '28 blind back with the dark blue body color. Depending on the age of my color chip this one looked the same. You can use an air brush to apply as you do not have to make it very thick.

You could mix black with white in measured amounts until you reached the shade oy gray that you want . Black and white Rustoleum paints could be used . The model A paint and finish guide book has color chips that a person could copy , to some extent . Most will never know the difference .
