Default Clock

I have a 1941 Ford Deluxe and the clock amongst other thing was not working. I finally got around to removing the glove box and then the clock. I actually got the clock working by cleaning it up and oil it. The only problem it is a wind up clock and looks to be original. What good is it if you have to take the glove box out every time you need too wind it up???Just a stupid question??/

Are you missing the winding knob?, I just open the glovebox and wind the stem, it hangs down below the lip of the glovebox.

I will include a picture of the back . It has a nob that winds the clock and also set the time and a hole for the lamp. Thanks Jerry

Jerry, you should have an access hole from within your glovebox.

My '41 had an access hole for the clock also. If your clock works I believe it runs for 40 hrs. Pain to set and rewind all the time. I replaced the movement with a battery clock from a craft store.
