Default Speedo thread size

Does anyone know what the thread size is for the 1941 Ford Deluxe speedometer. I have included a picture. Thanks Jerry

Looks like 3/4-20 on the turtle end according to Summit. Jack E/NJ

Some where else I looked it said 7/8" so that is why I am confused. But 3/4 by 20 may be correct. Thanks Jerry

I just measured one in the shop with a caliper and thread a guage. 7/8" with 18 threads per inch.
My original speedo cable threads right up.

The end that threads into the speedometer is 3/4" with 20 threads per inch. Hope this helps.
