Default Ford Barn password. Ryan.. others?

Because I had troubles with Internet Explorer, I downloaded Firefox. Asked for and received a new password. Entered my name and the new password and I was in.

However, after logging off and back in later, I had to reenter the password again in spite of my clicking the "save" box.

Anyone know why my new password will not save?

I don't use Firefox but here is something I found online;

Once you login isn't there a REMEMBER ME box to check just below the password? The "save" box never worked for me if you're referring to the pop down dialog box. If you're referring to the REMEMBER ME box that you checked then I can't help, I use Firefox and have my cookies disabled. The pop down dialog box never works for me on anything.

After again putting in the password and checking the "remember me" box, I got in again. Cookies are turned on in Firefox.

Came back and had to put in my password again to get on. Firefox is not saving my log-in information.

Never had this problem with Internet Explorer until it went south..

Can always download Google Chrome. Every one of them has little quirks. I have both Chrome and Internet Explorer on my computer and when I get frustrated with one I use the other.
I have no problem with this site with either one after checking "remember me" box.

Sorry for the hassle. That problem happens when your browser is out of memory. Here is how you can beat it:

1. Clear the cache and temporary internet files from your browsers memory.

2. Next time you login, click the "remember me" box.

After that, you will be good to go!

Thanks,

Thank you Ryan..

Had to put my access code in again to log on. I have always clicked on the "remember me" box, and clicked on the update box. It won't work.

I have Windows 10 which is quite different from the other Windows. I found the cache information, but cannot find the Temporary Internet files.

This Computer is relatively new, so explain how my browser is "full." Not real computer literate..

Thanks Ryan!

You need to open internet explorer.
go to "Tools" on the menu at the top of the screen(the little gear looking thing). From that list, select "Internet Options.". From the "General" tab, "browsing history" section click the "Delete Files" button.

Just to be sure open firefox,

Go to Tools or Menu button (in upper-right corner) > Options > Advanced > Network >
Cached web content > "Clear now".

I have tried Firefox on two different computers and always had problems with it. I then bought Windows 10 off Ebay. I use the Edge browser and have not had problems.
