68C out in the snow!
Dallas doesn't get much snow, so today's 6 inches that we got this morning meant time to grab the camera and take some pictures. Thought I would share.

Were just trying to share what we have been dealing with since Monday. Lived in DFW area for many years and only saw one snow and of course it was gone by 5pm.

I dont want you Dallas city folk to have all the fun. Tried to get Miz Charlotte out for a ride around town but she got stuck in the yardand could not get her out the gate. . Finally got her back in the shop and got 'le blue coupe out for a run. Here are pictures of each. enjoy.

Re: 68C out in the snow!
I was a lot of fun driving around in the snow, wasn't it Ken?? I really felt closer to the way it used to be. You should have seen the faces of the kids that I drove by. It was like they saw a flying saucer go by!

Jason. That top pic is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. That top pic could be used for next years Chrismas Card or a Great Calender pic for Dec or Jan. Thanks again.

Dad's doing fine. He hasn't had any more problems since they started him on the rat poison (coumadin). The picture of "Nana and Dado" is especially cool because our sport coupe is pretty much identical, with the exception of the black wheels and tires. We had the car a while before we found the picture, so that was pretty neat knowing we had a car just like theirs without having seen the picture.

Re: 68C out in the snow!
You guys and all your snow. All we get here in the Portland Or area is rain!
To get in the mood, I thought I would post an old-old photo of my old Model T (what was left of it) taken back in high school days. BTW that old rusty thing in the background was an old 29 CCPU which I ruined in those days but what was left of it, is now my huckster shown to the left.

Re: 68C out in the snow!
There are no Model A's in this report, but thought you guys would want breaking news from north of the 49th.

Re: 68C out in the snow!
I just got done shoveling the roof here in CT due to the layers of snow totaling over 36" up there! Even my A would get stuck in this.

Jason, you really ought to send that picture into the Restorer for the Out and About section!

Re: 68C out in the snow!
Your Model A black reminds me of an old saying: What is a black thing in the snow? it is a perfect target... In this case for photo shooting.- NICE
