Well a model a can be repaired after being in salt water with out much issues unlike new cars that won't even be good parts cars. Did anyone see the article on the flooded McLaren?

Would like to hear how the Ford and Edison winter estates in Fort Myers held up. They are close to sea level next to the river. Hope the Model As in the garage were moved out before the storm.

Well dang, I got hit twiced.....on Daniel Island, SC near Charleston and just before that on Sanibel Island, FL..... how lucky is that?

My '31 Tudor is under cover here in SC though so is OK.

We do not speak of, think about or support them in anyway in this home, they shot themselves in the foot, and it was fatal.

"We are happy to report that the historic homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, as well as other buildings at the Estates have weathered another hurricane and are in great condition.

The iconic Banyan and Mysore Fig trees also survived the storm. Debris is being cleared from the site and administration is waiting for power to be restored. Once the power is on and the debris is cleared, the site will re-open to the public.

The building codes will have to be updated to reflect the reality of increased frequency and power of storms. One community that was built to withstand severe hurricanes survived with minor damage and no loss of power. The answer is blowing in the wind.

Nice porch on that historic house. No AC back then so sitting on the porch was a thing to do. With some nice iced tea.

True, but the fire departments haven't any problems putting out fires like with EV auto fires.

There is plenty of climate data to prove you wrong and also why we sold the house in Naples after Irma, from what I am told by the new owner was flooded this time and last time was light damage.
