Edelbrock SU359 intake manifold
When I got my 47 , it had the SU359 intake installed on the motor with only the center carb operating. The 2 outer carbs are there but only for show. It has been suggested to me that not using all three carbs may cause some damage to my motor. Anyone run this intake with this arrangement , I am assuming that the design of the intake runners & using just the 1 carb is like having the function of a stock intake. Am I thinking right or wrong ...... Thanks

Re: Edelbrock SU359 intake manifold
Thanks Kahuna & Ol'Ron ..... should I have block off plates installed between the intake & outer carb mounting bases or run without the block off plates.
