Arrow Custom bodied '32?

How about his strange looking '32? Looks like the back 1/2 is grafted.

It certainly is unique. Looks like a '37 trunk lid and hinges almost like a '37 'humpback' was grafted on to the back. Did you notice the paint treatment on the dash?

You mean painting over the pits?Looks like a Model A top rail grafted to a commercial dash.Strange proportions.Doesn't look like any European coachwork I have seen.

Why put a convertible-looking top on a fixed head coupe? And then there's the odd transitions from cowl to quarter panel.

Looks like a custom built from parts at hand. "Coach built" would be a stretch. Most coach builders would make the design flow better. They have a reputation to keep up.

Further, if it was coach built, the seller would want to so state that, including the name of the body builder, as they would be selling points.

Hi Everyone. Another one without a horn?

The good thing, there's a car out there for everyone if you look long enough!

Is this an auction? I see buy now, but make offer? What's that?

Actually it isn't that bad looking and is reasonably priced. Like to see some underneath pictures and a copy of the title. Interesting and you'd be the only one. Not a cookie cutter type car for sure. JMO

I like it. This is one of the few places where 99% of the people wouldn't be wowed by it. I think even the Chevy-style hood louvers look "classy".

If it were a "true" custom coach car it wouldn't be missing several of the "custom" touches found on all the custom 32's like cowl support turnbuckle rods, windshield lock/push out, most importantly and most likely landau arms and chrome folding seat frames to mention a few. David R is also right in that if it were a true custom coach car, I think the seller would be more than eager to list that!

I like it. Fits in with me just like all the butt ugly 37 fords and sealed beam conversions.

I agree with Grandadeo. Some of the German '32's looked similar. Who ever "FIXED IT UP" may have made a few modification.
Hope you, your family, and cars are all dry and happy.

Actually the only existing "Custom" 32 that it resembles to me is the Italian Pinin Firina Cabriolet. There is not existing pictures that I know of that would make me think German.....especially with NO landau Bars. I actually thought English built when I first saw it prior to the photo evaluation of it.....@ Skidmarks NOT with you about the "BUTT UGLY" 37's but do agree about the "BUTT UGLY" sealed beam conversions!!!!

The car certainly is not as elegant as any of the european coach built cars we have seen. This might be some home built version. I wouldn't call it ugly, but it's not Pinin Farina quality.
