Gary was a real nice and helpful person,I got a set of valves and stuff from him just last week.
God speed Gary and know that the valve guides and seals you gave me did wonders for the 33, it did 5 days in a row at 550 kms per day in 35-40C and used no oil on our trip to Ayers rock.
THANK you for your help and knowledge.
You will be missed.

Gary was one of the guys who had the knowledge to go to the next level with the flathead. I enjoyed reading his posts and learned a few things doing so. The truly sad part is for the new guys coming on the Barn looking for info about the flathead and now not being able to learn from him. He will missed a lot.

Yes, it is a shame and as others mentioned it sort of comes with the old car hobby to see these unfortunate announcements. RIP Gary.
