Default Auto Shift Lever Removal from Tube

Cannot find this on Search.

The Parts Diagram does not portray the Stepped PART that rests up against the back of the Tube off the arm shift linkage.

Removed the dowel pin, two springs and caps from base of Auto Shift small Tube Lever but cannot remove the Arm for at it's base is the PART that rests up against the Large Column Tube.

How does the Part remove from the base of the shift arm to remove arm from shift tube?

Appears the stepped portion needs to be ground down and then after install a new fabricated piece needs to be welded....

Can you show the ILL and point directly to where you are having a problem?

I will attach ILL's but they may not show large enough -

The arm usually has a rubber piece in there.
If you are talking about removing the shift arm from the column tube after taking the pin out. It sort a wiggle it out type of thing. I was able to take mine apart out a new rubber in and fit it back in without removing or welding the little housing that it goes into. You kind of have to twist it and work it out.

That's the secret, Rotate the arm 180 degrees and it slides out... I just don't know how that works, if it's all the same how does it slide out that way..

Kultulz is it 7209? and the shift lever separation for new rubber and change out to new mini and large tube.

Check your E-MAIL John for the ILL's.

They won't show correctly here for some reason.

You might figure I lost your E-MAIL ADDY. Can you E-MAIL me again?
