Re: Oil Leaking from fan hub
As I said above all cracks now tig welded up and blades now held on with S/S button head cap screws and “turbo” nuts slathered in locktite.
Have ordered the genuine nsk 88586 bearing ,and its going to my buddy in Buda Tx and we will pick it up in 6 weeks. Drove the 32 around a bit today and the wobble is no worse with the Chinese bearing but I just do not trust it for longevity. So how the heck does eBay come up with $365 to ship a small bearing to New Zealand.? https://www.ebay.com/itm/NSK-885586-...0AAOSw7jddUric |

Re: Oil Leaking from fan hub
I live in Alaska and have seen the same outrageous shipping quotes on similar items. I just move on to the next one for sale.

Re: Oil Leaking from fan hub
I'm having hard time understanding this thread. There is no engine oil feed to this part. Only oil might be from a small cup.
There is probably guys that could send you kits direct from the usa with sealed bearings. Wouldn't weld fan blades. . |
