Default 1946 ford seat question?

Is the coupe seat ,2dr.sedan,and convertible seat same size?
And does anyone have the measurements of seat and the track where it bolts to the floor.

I have an extra track assembly in my garage. Do you want the width for it? All seats, coupe and sedans[tudor fordor] are the same width. They all go in the same holes in the same floor pan.

What car do you have? I do know the 3pass coupe vs the sedan coupe(5pass) are not the same.the sedan coupe has split back. The 3pass. coupe (with big package tray in back with no back seat) has a solid back seat that the back flips up from bottom so you can get behind seat/under package tray/shelf and has sides made of wood that are covered. Also the tracks are not the same from sedan coupe to 3pass. coupe but they will bolt to floor.I think fordor seat doesnt fold down so people wont be able to get in back if its a sedan coupe or tudor.so I guess that makes 3 seats. fordor,tudor/sedan coupe, and 3pass coupe.I went through all this with my 3pass. coupe.Oh forgot about the convert. I dont know about that.

I checked out the seat frame P/N in the body parts catalog a few years ago for a friend with a 47 convertible. The 42-48 tracks were the same for the Sedan Coupe, Tudor and the Convertible.

If the tracks are the same, the seat should fit. He installed a seat from a 46 Tudor in his convertible and had it reupholstered for a convertible.
