188 - what a journey
Hello folks
As promised last year, I took Mum for a ride on her 100th birthday today in a car that is 88 years old. She is still feeling fine, enjoying the ride around our hometown to visit all the places and streets that she remembers. Brought a tear to my eye when she said this might be the last ride but I doubt it - she is made from very strong stuff. Anyway, here are some pics. A big CHEERS to the 100 and the 88! |

I see them fine.
Congratulations to both of you. When I go for a ride, I can only get up to 150. |

Great that you were able to do this. Brings strong emotions to me, when I am able to do similar stuff. Did the same thing couple years ago with mother-in-law. She was very dear to me, and now she is gone. A very touching and emotional memory. |
