Is there a difference between a model A flywheel and a 32 counter balanced flywheel

Re: 32 b flywheel
The 1932 Flywheel is lighter than the Model A flywheel. As I recall, it was about 11 or 12 pounds lighter. I never read about the flywheel for the 32 counterweighted crankshaft being different than the early 32, but Vince would probably know about that.

Re: 32 b flywheel
I have seen references to some of the 33-34 Model B counterweighted crankshaft engines being fitted with a flywheel that was reduced in weight by an amount equal to the counterweights but have yet to see one or any official Ford documentation of it. Every Model B flywheel I have seen was the same weight - 52 lbs.

the B has one step in the OD. The A has two steps. |
