Cool Fulton

Will a Fulton accelerator pedal enhance my driving experience?

Not in my opinion. I put two on two of my A's and removed both, I found them to be clumsy. Besides that I found them to be hot rod looking which I detest.

I would try one they look good to me. I have pedal pads in that design. My model T's are throttled on the column, but there was a foot feed accessory like that available.

I've tried to use these reproduction Fulton pedals and could never make them work satisfactorily. I'm sure that if I could find them, I have several that I have "discarded" (not thrown away).

I adapted a '64 Mustang gas pedal, much cheaper and works well (for me anyway). It actually looks like it belongs.

Take my word for it, M2M knows how to drive a Model T. I've known him for 10-15 years.

Here's a real Fulton pedal. Reproductions are sorely lacking in my opinion. The Model A pedals were cut down and drilled to accept these pads.

My wife complained about the original so I installed the Fulton foot feed and she complained about it . I feel that the accelerator button and foot rest is a part of the model A experience that I wouldn't want to lose . I removed the accessory pedal and returned to the original set up .

.
I adapted a Fulton to fit without drilling holes
It attaches to the foot-rest.
I love it!
Second picture is an Original that gave me the idea.

LOL, I didn't say on a Model T, I said Model T "ERA". If I was going to put one on an A I would use the longer style shown. The Fulton sold in the T "ERA" is only about 5" long (I would have to check my original) and not much wider then the cap on it now, so you would still only be using your toes to press the pedal down.

I use an era accessory that is similar to a Fulton. I love it and actually have to get used to using the stock button. I actually find it easier to drive with, but I guess it comes down to what you are used to using.
