NO, it was a seperate "top" that Ford offered for not only for the "light commercial" pickup bed bodies, but also there were two longer versions for the express bodies of the 131-1/2" wheel base and the 157" wheel base AA Trucks.

If you have a copy of the Ford Service Bulletins, you can see one and its construction on page 555, April 1931.

I think they were offered in 1931 but were to fit all years????

I bought, what seller told me was an original '31 PU-cab imported from Texas, but it turned out to be yet another cut-down sedan. So I'm looking for one, who can be shipped to Denmark (where I live). I've got the Tudor-doors and cowl, only need roof and back-piece, plus wood (but that can be bought from new).

Can anyone help?

Hey Dannerr, when you do find one, have someone form a model A club nearest the cab check it out for you before you buy it or ship it! I'm sure people would help you out, especially considering your great distance. I would if you were looking near me.

It is too bad about the "paddy wagon". I was sure hoping it was a real one.

29RPU: That's a good idea! You think, people would help me with that? Must plan to oin the MAFCA next month! But my biggest problem is, that I don't know where to look - besides ebay. Do you know of other places to look for these cars and parts? Have you knowledge of any local, whom might have a PU-cab for sale (at decent price and condition, of course!)?
Yeah, I was sorry too - but I've decided to keep up the build, so until I find "the real deal", I'll keep on building with the sedan-parts, I've got now, as I simultaniously are looking for a genuine '30/'31 PU-cab.
