Default Some Cars Near Me

These are from a local junkyard that is closed down, but has stuff still. The owner lets people play around the yard. Well not just anyone, but he supports some friends that are rodders and tinkerers. If you want one of the cars you will have better luck with an interesting trade then cash.

Stuff looks pretty rusty to me, is there any steel left, or is most of it rusted away?

looks like a true grave yard. All it needs now is parts to be buried. And the sign of the cross.. Amen

You might get a few bucks for the 33-34 truck doors, but the rest looks too far gone. Not that I haven't draged home worse stuff.

One of the A trucks was revived. The place was a major area junk yard. There just all these hulks left, mostly older stuff. They use the site for haunted hay rides in Oct. and a few times a year they have benefit shows on the property.

Hundreds of cars were cleared out when it stopped being an active junk yard. I can remember as a kid walking around help my brother and father take stuff off the cars.

It looks like the Atlantic City area's salt air doesn't help preserve old cars.

We have a couple of fun factors for rusting the cars.

The soil is fairly wet and acid too. You should see the condition of some of the parts that were laying on the ground. There are a couple of frames that are just lace work.

Keep in mind anything that was any good was taken out a bunch of years ago. Though in the last year or two one AA truck was revived for running around the yard.

There are some 50 and 60's cars that are still restorable based on what I have seen people restore. Not saying it would be good economics, but I know people have restored cars in like condition.
