Default Do 1926 or 27 TT Frames have a Serial #?

I bought a titled 1926 TT stakebed truck about 8 years ago that didn't have the correct engine in it. The engine # is about 10 million, and the title # is about 14 million. Anyway in case I should ever want to sell the truck, it would be nice to know if it has a serial #. I am aware that most 26-27 Model T car frames have a serial number stamped in the passenger side rail. What's the story on the TT trucks as far as serial number stampings??? Are they stamped with a number anywhere?

This is just a guess because I've never seen any research on it, but my guess would be yes. Have you looked at the top of the frame under the floorboards? On the cars it's usually on the right, but sometimes it's on the left.

Of course the Cab is blocking my view of portions of the top of the frame, but I have tried to look. If I knew it was supposed to be in a certain spot, then maybe I would have to move the cab if it's in the way. That's what you have to do with Model A car bodies ---- lift the body, and that's a pain to do in order to see the serial number. I am hoping to know whether the late TT frames are even stamped with a number before I go to moving the cab.

The 2 1926 trucks I worked on this year have had the number stamped on the right side frame rail and it is visible by removing the floorboards.

They had been producing 1926 T's & TT's for several months when they started to punch the engine # in the frame mid december 1925, so if you have an early '26 maybe it didn't have any from start (if you like your car to match the title w/o the original engine available - number punches aren't expensive - original numbers were about 3/8" high)

I have a 1926 TT and it is stamped on the frame, right hand side and yes, the cab blocked it.
