Default Merc In The Snow

Long overdue for a drive in the Merc. Its been parked since September with few decent opportunities when the weather and scenery were right but yesterday it all fell together. The old six volt managed to get it fired up with a little carburetor priming and soon it was kicking up snow dust on the country roads.

Thanks for another video. Reminds me of growing up on the farm in the 50's and 60's. I learned to drive there in my grandpa's '40 Ford pickup. Pleasant memories!!

Not sure I would be going that fast with street treads on packed snow, but really enjoyed the undercarriage view, with the grass whipping the camera!

Not sure I believe the speedometer on the Merc. It did not feel fast. Pretty stable ride. There was more gravel than packed snow on that road. On the undercarriage view I was just hoping the camera did not lose it's grip on the bumper and fall in the snow. It was ok.

Nice video, before the days of salt and brine I didn't mind winter driving. Love the sound of 6 volts cranking over when cold. Your suspension seems to doing excellent job.

Thanks all for the comments and "likes". Its what keeps me going on this video addiction. And the old Merc is no stranger to snow as seen here in this photo from 1962.
