Default 1930 Coupe window regulator

Just how long is the shaft on the regulator ? Mine is only about 1/2" and not near long enough to put the escutcheon on and the crank handle. I removed the spring from behnd the door panel and that didn't help. The regulator works great but I'm not so sure its made for a 30 coupe.

Gary, I had that same problem with one of the regulators on my '30 coupe. I ordered new regulators from Snyders and they work Great.

By the way, Is that you with that Banjo? I've been trying to learn how to pick mine for some time. It's hard when there's no one to pick along with........ I Love the 5 string. Mine is a Fender. I am a fan of the Earl Scrugg's style. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
