I can't give you those dimensions right off the top of my head, but I CAN tell you that they will vary a few thousandths between each wheel. One size does not necessarily fit all, here.

WHOOPS: I read that to mean support spacers between the wheel and hub when using later drums with wire spoke wheels. My bad.

Not sure why folks want to confuse with answers to questions that they don't understand.

This is a "one-year-only", 1935 Ford 16" wire wheel.

"Re: 1935 Wire Wheel Backspacing and offset"

Simple questions:

What is BACKSPACING?

What is OFFSET?

Sorry Joe, that I don't have those figures, nor a wheel to measure such!

I come up with 3 1/8 backspace and 9/16 positive offset. Again, as long as these are the same wheels you’re talking about........Mark

I took some 3/16 rod !made a ring the size that fit the rim ,welded it togeather to form ring
then laid in in wheel, put a straight across the holes from one to the other then ground the ring to be flush with lug holes,,made a little clip to hold them in place when you put wheel on,,,I believe it helped some with the wiggle,I only needed them on front.
