I found some interesting stuff on you tube. Search, on you tube, not Google ' One Who Collects, top wood kits' He bought one for a 29 tudor, wasn't satisfied. Read what he did, how he was able to use some of it, and how he fitted it. He has a lot of useful Model A videos that I couldn't find on Google.
The better find was J.David Gillespie's series on making his own top wood, and other parts in simple ways, with common simple tools. Lots of detail, processes, fitting advice. The only way I could access it was to search u-tube,'Model A top wood pumpkintown'.
J. also is a Revolutionary War 'sutler' with a site www.pumpkintownprimitives.com . Fascinating things I rarely see.
It's Odd about my searching ability here and now. Also Internet keeps dropping out before I can post.
I've had a positive day,
Russ
