I believe, as best I can remember, I rode in a package tray a few times myself. Now with the laws today, my grandkids must be all strapped into their little seats in such a way that riding in a package tray would be totally out of the question. Oh these times they are a changing
Found a few pictures of my good friend and garage helper.... "Blue Eyes"

I am amazed at how clean that cat is with all the time it must spend in your shop. They are amazing animals.

Somehow she does manage to keep herself pretty clean, but occasionally she comes in the house with a little black grease on her head or tail from walking under my old Fords. This was a stray cat that came to my neighbors house. He had already taken in 6 or 8 cats that were probably dropped off near his place. She really took a liking to me especially after I started feeding her. That was 8 to 10 years ago, and she quickly became a member of the family.

This is Nina with the 35 pickup, She loves to "G for an R" we speak in code around her to keep her from getting too excited. She hears the keys jingle & figures it out..
Boone the cat, has claimed anything sitting in the garage, He loves the Project cars I bring home,He checks them out when they're on the trailer, lots of good smells & a few mice.

My wife and I take the dog on trips with us. We have an English Mastiff who is a bit over 200 pounds. He has travelled to every State except North Dakota and Hawaii with us and has been to a good bit of Canada from coast to coast as well. He turned 70000 miles travelling with us this past summer. He cannot get into my old pickups and it would leave no room for my wife (or me) if he did. When the time, energy, and money are all there at the same time, finishing my panel delivery will solve the problem.
