Any suggestions as to where to send a mirror for re-silvering?? Any experiences??

Years ago there was a family owned business that stripped & re-silvered antique mirrors,they were located in Kansas.

It was expensive 25 years ago and with the chemicals that are used I would imagine the EPA has had a effect on the price to have even a small piece done.

I did a quick nternet search and I don't see the business listed. HRP

You can do it at home . Angel Gilding http://angelgilding.com/ can supply a kit for you to do it . I have done it. Not as easy as it looks on their videos but the kit contains plenty of chemicals and after a few failed attempts I got a good result -Karl
