Dear Friends The HAL single overhead cam head on my 1931 Ford speedster developed some cracks due to a bad casting,and is ruined. Do any of you have,or know where I can get a bare or complete head? George, two options for you is if your friend is wanting to drive his car and throw authenticity to the wind, Norm Frick in Colorado makes an aluminum version of that head. He could use Norm's head and use your friend's hard parts.

If he wants to try to repair that cracked casting, Columbus Col Weld (1515 Harrisburg Pike, Columbus, OH 43223 614-276-5303 ) has had quite a bit of experience repairing other racing heads in similar condition for members of the Antique Auto Racing Ass'n. Their reputation is, they can fix what others had deemed unrepairable.

WOW,

I did not know ANYBODY was running one of those things. I have had a SOHC Hal for about 30 Years. I want to put it in a Model A I have been trying to get around to restoring for more then 40 years now. Now that I am retired, I am slowly getting to my projects.
