The club coupe has a full back seat, like a two door. The doors are longer than a regular coupe and the roof is shaped differently. The quarter windows also swing out.

The sedan coupe was the long door version so you could get in the back more easily. Club coupe was a terminaology that some manufacturers used for the sedan type coupe. The business coupe was a short door version that usually had no back seat but did have an area for stashing your sales ware if you actually used it for business.

The sheet metal behind the door to the rear fender is a good foot to 16 inches long or better on the business coupes where the sedan coupe is much shorter.

The '38 club measures 17.5 inches from the door to fender near the bottom. My '40 coupe measures 23.5 inches in the same location. The cars aren't exactly apples to apples, but the principal is the same.
