Don't know what year of car you're working on but on my '47 there is no bracket that slides over any tab. The bracket is welded to the torque tube in front of the bracket for the radius rods as pictured.

I've not seen it in catalogs that I can recall but I did recently take a rear apart that had that bracket attached between to the TT lug and the ends of the rear bones. It was fastened by the long bolt and nut. If interested send me a pm and I will go look around my garage for it.

Also, it is a dirt simple part...just a piece of steel strap wit 4 kinks and some hole. No complicated contours at all, though I think the center hole may need some filing after drilling. If someone can post a picture you'll see what I mean.

My 41 pickup has a stirrup bracket bolted to the bottom of the torque tube. Not a great picture but it is in on the right side of the picture. Just fab something. BTW the aftermarket e brake cable I bought for the truck was too long, so it has to come apart again.

At least the '42 to '48 rears have TWO brackets. The first is welded to the torque tube and anchors the hand brake cable sheath AND the flex brake line from the frame. The second is at the big torque tube lug where the front ends of the radius rods bolt up and it holds the Tee fitting for the hard brake lines to the rear wheels. It appears that this is the one John is talking about and it can be seen at the far right of Old Henry's first picture.
