Default Early Thickstun Fuel Pump Rod

Just wondered if any of you guys might know which fuel pump rod or the correct fuel pump rod length when using the pre war Thickstun intake like the one attached? Thanks Guys

Looks to be short type...I have an unused Thickstun and never looked.
The common '35-48 ones are in 2 lengths an inch apart. If you look at the back of a flathead manifold, the height from block surface to surface where FP stand bolts on is VERY ROUGHLY 1" high for short rod designs, very roughly 2" high for long pump. The '49-53 manifolds all match the height of the long rod early manifolds, by the way.
Once you are aware of it, the difference is marked enough that you can tell which rod a manifold needs at a glance.

Thanks Bruce, I knew the mounting surface for the fuel pump stand wasn't nearly as tall as say on an offy. I was afraid I would have to use something other than the stock flathead fuel pump stand.

I had to use a special tool to adjust the length of my fuel pump rod on my 59A engine when I put a stock 1936 aluminum intake on it.
