Default Shock rebuilder

Saw an ad in the barn for sale section for rebuilding Ford shocks. The name of the rebuilder is Mikes Speed Shop in Kannapolis, NC. Has anyone used their services before? Are they prompt, reasonable and is the workmanship good? Would appreciate hearing of the quality of their work from barners.

I contacted him and plan to send a 33 shock for rebuild and give a try. He told me he restores to stock specifications but I still have no feedback to provide. According to his profile he works mostly on suspension on Ford hot rods. Will charge me $180/shock, not that different from other rebuilders.

I sent Bill a PM here on the 'barn and he didn't get it. Post here and ask him to get in touch with you.
