Default generator diameter

does anyone know the diameter of generator that goes in the strap type mount thanks in advance

This OEM generator is for a 1953 Ford 8BA using wide belts.. With the shiny sheet metal cover removed, the outside dia. of the case is 4 7/8 inches. (123.825mm) It's for sale. Wish you were closer.

It might be easier to just use a GM one wire alternator as brackets are already
available. Direct bolt in.
