Default Cab mount section ahead of firewall on 56 fairlane

Does anyone know of a sheet metal outfit making the mounting assembly ahead of the firewall that ties the firewall assembly to the frame riser. I find toe boards but not his piece. I've included a photo of what is left of mine. thanks for any info. I know I can get someone to fab one up but I can't be the only one who has seen this problem.

That bracket is not being reproduced. The ones on my '55 Courier were bad at the very bottom. I cut off the bad portion and rebuilt them myself with new metal.

Is this the piece that bolts the body to the frame?

Yes, there's one on each side resistance welded to the front of the firewall at the top of the bracket and resistance welded to the floor panel at the bottom of the bracket. It is considered part of the car body.
It is not unusual to see these rotted away at the bottom.
If the foot riser panels are bad that far up, it could be a real nightmare to get those brackets aligned in the right spot. The floor and foot riser panels need to be welded on at the exact same spot the factory had them.

I got a pair of mounting brackets from Norbert Doll. They were cut from another car.

There's a name I haven't heard in about 35 years. Still got one of his business cards. Those pieces you got still look pretty structurally sound. Make sure you get all the old floor off that bottom piece and get all factory resistance welds ground flat before fitting up to the permanent floor.

Yes. All of the old floor will come off. The original braces were patched up with angle iron years ago. Not very pretty. Thanks.
