This Open Cab 1939 Ford does not appear to be Australia, as it is LHD.

I just learned that the Canadian Mercury 114 came in two trim levels. The "deluxe" trim model was known as a Mercury 114X - as on this Glove Box lid on a 1948 Mercury 114X Sedan. This was similar to the regular Fords that were also built on the 114 inch Wheelbase. In the Ford series, the bas model was the Ford Deluxe and the upmarket model was the Ford Super Deluxe. The "full size" Mercurys built on the 118 inch Wheelbase only came in one trim level. You learn something new every day. In the 1946 Canadian Sales Brochure for the Mercury 114, there is no mention of two trim levels?

1954 and 1955 Lincoln Hubcaps are different. Can anyone spot the difference between these two Hubcaps that are fitted to a 1954 Lincoln. I don't think that the owner knows that they are different.
There is a Hubcap Dealer in California that lists these Lincoln Hubcaps as 1954-1955, so obviously, he doesn't know that there are slight differences. Clue - the difference in in the Shield.

Close-up view of the Shields on the 1954 and 1955 Lincoln Hubcaps, showing the slight difference between the two years.
Please disregard the fact that the 1955 Lincoln Hubcap is missing the red paint in the centre.
It is obvious that a lot of people assume that both year Hubcaps are identical?
As you can see, that is not correct, as there is a correct one for each year.
