Default Chantilly virginia V8 Ford Meet.

I am in London On.and am thinking of driving to the Chantilly meet with my 39 Mercury .Some are driving from Rochester NY.Could /will connect up with them. Should any from Mi.that might drive, wish to come through Ontario ,we could meet up in London and drive to Niagara Falls ,[check the falls] cross into NY .and out to Rochester . We could use the big roads or the back way Corning NY. might be a better place to meet as it is a little shorter to there , from the Boarder All for now John.

Johnny, you might want to make this same post over on the Early Ford V-8 Club's website. There could be some folks who post there, and not here, who might want to join in with you or you with them. Sometimes the drive to the meet and meeting up with other V8er's along the way is almost as much fun as attending the meet itself. Some of us will be driving from Maryland, but heck that's only a stones throw from Chantilly . Hope to see you there.

Several members of the Western NY Region of the Early Ford V8 Club usually drive their V8s to the Eastern Regional Meets. Contact Pat McFarlane in Rochester: [email protected].
Hope to see you at the meet!

Okay Clem, in 2007, when I arrived at the Fairfax Meet, you had to rescue me and my '35 fordor after running out of gas, over heating and in need of radiator coolant, and a quart of motor oil. This was the maiden voyage of a car I had just purchased a few weeks prior to that meet.
I hope I make it to Chantilly in better condition and a little more prepared this year.
Do you need me to bring a spare transmission and some extra parts for your peekup?

Clem, I'll see you at the meet. I enjoyed the visit to the Toy Train Museum and talking with you there last August. We'll pick it back up in June.
