If you Google "trinity 1945 paint complaints" you will find you are not the only person to have problems with this company. It sounds to me like the hardener was ineffective and what you ended up with was just old fashioned enamel.
Using cheap products during the painting process usually is false economy.

Another possibility is that if you put on a heavy wet first coat and followed it up with a second wet coat too soon before the thinner had flashed off, you may have trapped thinner that is now venting out in the hot sun softening the outer coat. You MAY get lucky if you force dry it with an inferred heater made for painting, or letting it sit in the hot sun.
I always wait at least 20 minutes between coats to avoid this sort of thing. But it sounds like the hardener may not have catalyze the paint.

I am sorry that happened to you, there are just a million things that can go wrong when painting a car ( and it only takes 1) and I seem to have experienced most of them.
