I'm going to clean it up and put it on the road. Thanks for the positive replies . I'll have a few more pics. up soon. MW

Very nice looking panel. Looks to be really nice in all the tough areas. I have built a couple panels and still have a 51 and a 52. Where in Colorado are you located? Welcome to the barn.

I have a side shift open driveshaft three-speed transmission that will fit it if you're interested.

The Greeen is a custom color I'm guessing.... The red you can see is on the firewall and under side of the hood too. Looks like front fenders and grill were black. The paint code on the tag is SS so it's not on the chart I found. The truck started out in Kansas in a small town Water Dept. I would suppose they ordered it Red and Black. Would that make sense? I thought I might just go back to the red with black fenders.
Oh yeah I drove Ruffus to the car wash down the street today. Really need to put an Exhaust on him. WE will be pounding around Arvada real soon. MW

I found a stuck intake valve #3 sprayed some penetrant down the guide. Tapped on the valve through the spark plug hole and it snapped shut. Really runs a lot better now. I put up a few more pics. of Ruffus on my page.

I put the best windows and latch parts I had back in the OE doors and put them back on the Ruffus where they belong. The paint is flaking off on the bottom of the doors that's bare metal showing not rust. I don't think it will take much to clean it up and paint the fenders black and the rest a close match to the red/orange that shows here and there.

The floor looks better than I thought it would now that the junk is out of it.

That is a NICE truck. I'm sure you'll have fun with it. Like Shadetree said, we love F-1's, we have a '51 Pickup and a '53 F-100 Panel Truck.

Great Panel. Keep posting those progress pics. I'll start doing the same next month on my '48 Panel.
