Drum on the left in picture is '36 ONLY. '37 - '39 did not have the ribs. '36 also has the longER bearing snout.

Do they look like these EARLY '36s?

Coop

Many of the more-normal looking '36s have this star pattern cast into the back side, supposedly a '36 feature ONLY!

well it would appear i have 1 fullset of 36 hubs and drums if 36 ran large rear wheel bearing but the others are a mystery they are one piece short snout steers 1 pair ribbed 1 pair plain both with screw in caps and are not the spoked type shown above

Not all wide 5's were hub & drum construction; many were one piece units, some with fins. In fact, I think I have come across more one piece drums than the two piece.
