Default White Christmas in Tennessee

It is rare for it to snow in Tennessee and very rare for a white Christmas.
I couldn't resist getting the Piclup out. It has been snowing solid for the last few hours.
Merry Christmas to all.

Peter, the basement is full of engine repair equipment so the A has been outside for a few days. I really didn't think it was going to snow after the mild temps yesterday but, I got fooled. After it got snowed over I figured it was good for some pics. I am going to take it over to Brent's to store after this is all over with. It needs some updates anyway and I am interested in a new project.

Looks like you fellers in the east need one of these newfangled snow machines. Git on down to the general store and place your order right away for the new "SENSATION SNOW BLO". I picked up my machine last Thursday. It has the power of 4 horses and can blow snow up to 30 feet away. It'll clear a path to the outhouse in less time that it takes to go to the barn for a shovel.

I found this on craigslist last Thursday for $75. I went to pick it up without my trailer, thinking I'd stick it in the trunk of my Olds. I had no idea how heavy it was, so I had to make a quick drive home and hook up the trailer to haul it. The owner said he never could get it to run. I took the carb apart and found it was clean, so I sanded the points and checked the spark at the plug. It was good, so I put in gas and it fired right up. I was amazed at how well it blows the snow, especially for only 3.6 H.P.

I did a Google search for "Sensation" and all I could find was a brief history of the company from Wikipedia. Sensation was located in Ralston, Nebraska and built lawn mowers, starting in the 40's, then added snow blowers for a short time. Near as I could gather from the information, it must be about a 1950, even though it looks like something from the 20's or 30's.

I'll probably stick this on a trailer behind my Model A and display it at the threshing shows. Many times the weather is hot at the shows and just running this snow blower at idle puts out a nice blast of air, so it would be good to use for cooling off.
