Default 1937 to 1941 replacement drag link

Looking for a QUALITY made replacement drag link for a 37 to 41 chassis. The one that was provided to me with a project looked OK, then realized it was not drilled for cotter pins and had nylock nuts.

Tried the original castle nuts and they felt loose....tried the nylock nuts on the original and no-go
...replacement is metric?

Im sure if a vehicle was to get judged, the nylock nuts wont be overlooked
