Who sells repop 1931 slant w/s top latches
Does anyone know of a supplier of new top latches for slant windshield cabriolets? If not does anyone have a set of originals? Thanks for any help.

What part is it exactly you are looking for?
The studs on top the cowl? The brass parts that screw on the header? |

I need these parts for my German built 1931 slant w/s Model A Glaser. The plater lost the originals. The studs are on the header, but I need everything else. Hope the cabriolet will be similar. Anyone have some photos and dimensions?

I have a set of Bill`s that I had plated then I found an original set that I had plated then the guy that I bought the A400 from found the originals for the car and I had them plated to, so for right now I willing to sell the repo pair and you can not till them from original John Hash [email protected]

Two things to consider. Is the back side of the header cut at the angle of the windshield? How far from the back edge does the hole need to be? The slant type bracket will have a tapered back and the hole is fairly close to the back edge. The center of the hole is about 1/2" from the back edge of the bracket. My memory thinks the straight window bracket is much further from the back edge. The straight window bracket will also have a 90* back edge. Do you also have the a metal pan that goes on the bottom face of the wooden header? |
