Re: Update on Ken Ehrenhofer's Heart Attack
Best of luck for a speedy recovery. Been there with the wife and it was a scary few days. Just remember that you will be on a long term medicine intake for a good while. And while you might complain about the drugs and the related costs that to will diminish over time also.
My wife had almost a full blockage and quit breathing on the way to the hospital, I was driving and I never knew you could drive so fast to get to The hospital. God speed and best of luck for a full recovery. Old Car Guy

Re: Update on Ken Ehrenhofer's Heart Attack
Ken, Glad to know everything to get you well was being done. Give yourself TIME to heal. Sit back read old Restorers and MARC News watch all the Diablo DVD's, and put crawling around the A's some time off to heal. Recuperating and therapy is just as important as the surgery. This hobby needs as many old knowledgeable farts as it can. Get well my friend.

Hey Ken, Good to hear of your progress! Been there/done that....and know how you felt almost IMMEDIATELY upon blockage opening ! For all who have not had such circumstances, your 'get well' wishes are not misplaced, but ask Ken and you will know that he got well..the moment the blockage was corrected. As a new fresh shot of O2 rushes thru the body !! As to advice to 'wait' for emer med services, ha..when each second/minute counts...getem there ASAP and any way that accomplishes that, IMO ! I drove myself..no option ! |

Re: Update on Ken Ehrenhofer's Heart Attack
Ken,, First off, Take an ole "Farts" advice,, listen to your Doctor, my wife INSISTS that she go with me for every Cardiology Appointment , two sets of ears are better than one set, Helen will understand I'm sure.. I can speak from my experience, I have a quadruple by pass, 10 Stents, pacemaker/defibrillator, God will be with you and Helen..Jay
