Default 1936 Doors and Fenders

Do front doors off a 1936 Fordor fit a 5 Window Coupe? Do rear fenders off a 1936 Fordor fit any other body styles?

Rear fenders would fit sedans, phaetons, and convertible sedans only. Not sure about the doors. They may be the same width , but could have a different curve at the top.

According to my copy of the Hollander Interchange Manual (16th edition), the doors from the Fordor do not interchange with the 5w Coupe, nor do any other models interchange with the Fordor. Doors on the 5w also do not interchange with any other models, either.

The Tudor, Fordor and Sedan Delivery rear fenders all interchange with each other, but NOT the coupes or Roadsters

36 Fordor doors will fit a 5W Coupe, but need to be trimmed along the top back edge. I have them on my 36 5W Coupe.

Guessing it could be similar to a 33-34 5w. The 4dr doors will not fit directly, but can be modified to fit.

Thanks Gary. That explains why the body book lists a different part number for a door assembly less paint and trim for a 5-window coupe vs a fordor. (68-771714/15 vs 68-731714/15). The door trim part numbers are the same though.

I reconise that picture Gary. lol I was just looking at both of those doors this weekend wishing we could have a swap meet again. As to the original question it's very easy to fit the 4 door doors to a 5 window and the nice thing is you can adjust the fit to a nice even gap
