Default 48-52 F1 truck spring nut

I have a box of spring nuts for the front and rear drums, 356080-s32. Was there a special spanner wrench to install them?

I use to use a large socket and push them on . If they're the ones that are to temporarily hold the drums on before the wheels and lugs were installed .

Don't think they are temporary, they hold the drums on on some models where the drums will come off when a wheel is removed.
