Default Rte. 66 hill climb

The climb went well with hardly a hitch. Some 25 cars ran the hill, only one major failure that I know of, the Shortland Brother's threw a rod after they had won the SP-1 class. (I think, not verified yet) The day was hot but clear and all had a good time!

Did they act like Dan Aykroyd and keep on going?

I would love to be a part of one of these events. Maybe one day.

The radiator hose on the Yellow A pickup could use some help.

The AA belongs to Steve Salazar, it is mostly stock with the stock 4-speed trans. He chirps a little rubber off the line. It isn't fast but he has a ball with it, and somehow attracts a lot of lady passengers! He ran it one time with single rear wheels and it picked up some speed.

We lost Steve Salazar, the owner of the AA truck, a couple of weeks ago to cancer. If you were friends with him, I wanted to spread the word regarding his memorial.
There is going to be a memorial for him this weekend Saturday February 18th, at 11:00am,at Art and Olive Moore's residence at 333 E. 23rd Street, Upland CA, 91784. All are welcome to come join and celebrate Steve's life with his Wife, Family, and Friends.

These are old pics, that site is no longer available due to construction. We now use a County site in Murrieta, CA. Next event there will be in Nov. www.hotforhotfours.com for hill-climb schedule.
