Does spider in light switch need greasing?
Should I grease the light switch socket and spider where they meet?

No, plenty of oil will leak out of your steering box to keep it lubed.

A little dielectric grease on the contacts won't hurt. Might make it easier to move the switch.

Re: Does spider in light switch need greasing?
I ran mine dry for 20 years, then it started to feel a little stiff. So I lightly greased it, figuring what harm could it do?
