Default FAM replacement rubbers

I am seeking opinions as to where is the best placement of the jack to raise the rear of the motor a couple of inches.I need to replace the rubbers in the rear engine mounts...in the past I have placed the jack under the nut just fwd of the bell housing but I fear this puts a huge strain on the transmission..where is the best jacking point ?thanks in anticipation.

You don't need to raise the engine much, just release the pressure on the rubber biscuits enough to push them out. Try putting the new ones in and if you need a quarter inch go for it. You certainly won't need more than that even with badly compressed ones. I put the jack under the tranny plug.
