Wheel camber
Les Andrews shows how to check and adjust wheel caster and toe in but I cant find anything on camber.Does anyone know how to check this and how to adjust it?.My car was involved in an accident recently and now I suspect one front wheel is leaning too far out at the top. Many thanks for your input.

Re: Wheel camber
Vic, I am snowed in at home right now but when I get to the shop, I will get you that number out of my Bear Alignment book.

Re: Wheel camber
On the car you will need some fancy tools to bend the axle. They have these really heavy jack pivot tools to manhandle truck axles that may do the job.
Off the car you just need some rods made up. See the link to my website. If the axle was ever heated to remove the spring perch then the axle will bend very easy in any direction. Off car alignment |

Re: Wheel camber
Incorrect camber can also be caused by worn spindle bushings, which you can do a quick check of - jack up the front and grab the rim top and bottom to check for play. Of course this play would be from wear, not an accident.
